BIOGRAPHY
I am a freelance illustrator and designer based in Canberra, Australia. Working from my home studio, I design and illustrate books and stationery whilst working on exhibitions and art projects.
I love to combine traditional art making methods such as drawing, painting and sculpting with digital mediums such as animation, photography and design.
After studying a Bachelor of Graphic Design, Majoring in Illustration and Masters in Arts Management I embarked on a 11 year creative journey of telling others stories before starting my fulltime freelance business in 2015.
From being a solo graphic designer for a media and publishing house, in the heart of the South Pacific, Tonga to managing a gallery and studio for artists with intellectual disabilities in NZ, and working as a Communications and Design Coordinator for a community arts organisation in Western Australia.
These experiences built my passion for the power of books, visual storytelling, art and design to build empathy, explore ideas and build social conscience.
